Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought,“Why can’t I just get it together?”Why the starts and stops. Why the guilt after eating. Why the feeling that everyone else seems to figure this out—but you.
Let me tell you something right now: you are not broken.
This episode is an invitation. An invitation to stop fighting yourself and finally understand what’s really been running the show beneath your weight, your cravings, and your cycles of self-sabotage.
In this episode, I share how my own journey—losing over 50 pounds and maintaining it—wasn’t about willpower, perfection, or another diet. It was about learning why I was being mastered by food, emotions, and habits… and how to break free with love instead of shame.
We’ll talk honestly about:
Binge eating and comfort eating (without judgment)
Why self-discipline rooted in punishment never lasts
How pain—not weakness—is often the real driver behind our habits
And how grace, awareness, and simple daily rhythms can change everything
You’ll hear pieces from The Wellness Revelation and the Habits of Health framework—but through the lens of real life, real struggles, and real women who are just trying to feel better in their bodies again.
If you’ve ever said:
“Nothing works for me”
“I’m tired of starting over”
“I just want peace around food”
“I want to lose weight, but also heal”
This episode is for you.
This conversation also sets the foundation for The War On Weight Community—a space created so no woman has to do this alone. I’ll share how you can start with a simple 14-Day RESET to calm your body, reset your habits, and prepare for lasting change.
This isn’t about winning a battle against your body. It’s about learning how to fight for yourself.

Sister—listen to me for a minute.
You do not need to white-knuckle your way through the holidays. You do not need to start over in January. And you definitely don’t need another all-or-nothing plan.
You can survive the holidays—and even feel good doing it—by sticking to simple health habits.
This quick holiday episode is here to help you stay grounded, nourished, and in control during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and every gathering in between—without missing out on the joy.
Because let’s be real… you’re busy.So we’re keeping this simple and doable.
Here’s what I want you to focus on:
💧 Hydration first.Start your day with 16 ounces of water—especially on holidays. Add 8 ounces with every meal. This alone changes everything.
🍽️ Don’t starve yourself.Eat small, balanced meals throughout the day so you don’t walk into the holiday table ravenous and out of control.
🤍 Remember what the holiday is really about. The food will be there—but the memories, conversations, and relationships are the real win.
🍴 Slow down and choose on purpose.Pause. Put the fork down. Savor a few bites. Every choice matters—not because you’re failing, but because you’re learning to care for yourself.
🎄 Have a plan if you’re going to multiple gatherings.Small meals at each, or choose different courses at different events. You’re allowed to decide ahead of time.
🥗 Get picky.Don’t eat something just because it’s there. Eat what you truly love and what serves your body well.
📏 Use a small plate and smaller portions.Three tablespoons or less of each item. That’s it. Enough to enjoy—without regret.
👖 Wear real pants. Not to punish yourself—but to stay aware. Yoga pants invite mindless eating.
🚰 Keep your hands busy.Water bottle in one hand, napkin in the other. This alone can stop grazing.
🍬 Chew sugar-free gum while cooking and after eating.Simple trick. Big difference.
✍️ BONUS (This Is Where the Real Change Happens)
Journal every single day this week.
Ask yourself:
How do I want this holiday to feel?
How do I want to feel next week?
What would a win look like for me?
What choices will help me honor the body God gave me?
What am I truly thankful for—the food, or the meaning behind this season?
Get it out of your head and onto paper.Clarity brings peace. Peace brings better choices.
And when the holidays are over—if you find yourself ready for a RESET, I’ve got you.
Join me in The War on Weight Community by starting with the 14-Day Reset. It’s the bridge between surviving the holidays and stepping into real, lasting change in 2026.

In today’s comeback episode of The War on Weight Podcast, we’re talking about one of the most overlooked — but absolutely life-changing — truths in faith and wellness:
✨ Pivoting isn’t quitting. Pivoting is obedience. And obedience leads to transformation.
If you’ve been feeling stuck in your health, overwhelmed in your routines, discouraged by slow weight loss, or unsure of what God is asking of you next… this episode is the permission slip your heart has been begging for.
I’m sharing my own deeply personal season of pausing, pivoting, confusion, burnout, and ultimately Holy-Spirit-led realignment — plus the science behind why your body, metabolism, hormones, and nervous system often need a pivot just as much as your spirit does.
This is the start of a brand-new season of this podcast… and a whole new season of YOU.
This episode will teach you:
✓ Why pivoting is not quitting — it’s obedience
And how God uses redirection to protect, prepare, and position you for what’s coming next.
✓ How to recognize when you’re spiritually, emotionally, or physically stuck
Signs from your body (and your spirit) that a pivot is overdue.
✓ The science behind why your metabolism and nervous system need a reset
Understanding cortisol, stress patterns, inflammation, and survival mode — and why they stall weight loss.
✓ How shame-free pivots create space for healing and breakthrough
Because your body isn’t broken — it’s speaking to you.
✓ What rebuilding your health with faith looks like
A blend of scripture, nervous system support, spiritual alignment, and doable habits.
✓ The new direction of this podcast + community
Faith-based weight loss coaching, nervous system healing, metabolism repair, daily rhythms, and sustainable transformation for Christian women
This episode is for the woman who feels:
stuck in her weight loss
frustrated by slow progress
overwhelmed by life
burned out spiritually or physically
confused about “what to do next”
ashamed for needing a reset
out of alignment with her calling
exhausted by starting over
You’re not failing. You’re being invited to pivot.
Isaiah 43:19 — “See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
This is your reminder that God creates new paths when old ones no longer fit the version of you He’s shaping.

Sister, if you’ve ever felt lost in your body, frustrated with yourself, or tired of trying to fix things on your own—this conversation is for you.
In this episode, I’m sitting down with my dear friend Leah Fruth—author, speaker, fitness teacher, and LiveWell Health Coach—and we’re talking honestly about what it looks like to stop striving and start healing.
Leah shares her personal journey from feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and unsure of herself to finding true freedom through her relationship with Jesus. Not the “try harder” kind of faith—but the kind that brings peace, purpose, and alignment to your body, mind, and spirit.
We talk about her book, Come Alive Now, and why it’s such a powerful resource for women who feel like they’ve been going through the motions of life but know there’s something more for them. Leah breaks down practical, doable steps to help you reconnect with yourself, your faith, and your health—without pressure or perfection.
Together, we also talk about:
Why community matters more than willpower
How faith and fitness can work together—not compete
What it looks like to move your body from a place of love instead of punishment
And why you don’t have to walk this journey alone

I’m so excited about this episode because I often get asked…
What do you do? How do you do it? How can I work with you?
These questions get me all fired up and I get so excited to tell people all about it. This conversation always has to start with how I got here. If you’ve been listening long, you have a good idea! I often say, I’m just a normal girl who finally took back her own health and is helping others do the same. Once I got started, my passion to help others and meet them where they were REALLY started to shape my business. Knowing I had the knowledge and skills to help other women break free of the vicous cycle of yo yo dieting, chasing the next quick fix, over eating, over exercising, all to end up beating themselves up and eating more, gave me purpose and a mission.
When you visit my website www.coachkeatha.com, you find this under about me….

Have you ever stopped and thought…How did I get here? Not just with your weight—but with your health, your energy, your relationships, your peace.
If that question has been quietly sitting in your heart, grab your coffee and stay with me for a few minutes. This episode is for you.
Here’s the truth, sister: this didn’t happen overnight—and it won’t change overnight either. But it can change when you’re willing to slow down and get honest with yourself… without beating yourself up.
In this episode, I’m inviting you to do one simple but powerful thing:👉 take a loving, clear-eyed look at your life and your choices.
We walk through how to evaluate what’s working and what’s not by looking at four key areas:
Faith – Are you grounded, connected, and supported?
Family – Are your relationships life-giving or draining?
Health – Are your daily habits helping you feel better or just get through the day?
Wealth – Are your finances and work aligned with your values and stress levels?
No perfection required. No fixing everything at once. Just honesty.
I’ll share how I do this in my own life—by simply writing it out. The good. The hard. The places I feel strong. The places I know I need to pivot. And why awareness is the first step toward real, lasting change.
This episode isn’t about shame. It’s about alignment. It’s about learning to fight for yourself instead of against yourself.
And if you’ve never done core values work before, don’t skip this part—head to Episode 28 and grab the Core Values Workbook. It will help you get clear on what actually matters so your next steps finally make sense.
You don’t need a new diet. You need clarity, compassion, and a starting point.
This episode is that starting point. 💛

Why do I say that? Sometimes you just have to breathe to lose weight. Sometimes we do have to process some emotions to finally starting winning the war on weight even when you are eating the salad! God created our bodies as the most amazing and phenomonal state of being. The way our nerves, cells, muscles, fluid and electrical system works is just mind blowing. HE is the ultimate artist and creator!
I say it all the time, FUEL YOUR BODY not FEED YOUR EMOTIONS. I know in my own journey I still often feed my emotions. Even being a coach and even when I'm working everyday on myself, my nutrition and my movement. It's how I know you still need to hear it. One of the most fascinating things I have learned is how we how emotions in our belly. No wonder we eat to process it. God intended us to process our emotions and live a FREE full life! I've discovered this amazing technique to help process those emotions and today's episode, I have brought on the two ladies that introduced me to circular breathing. After feeling and experiecining the effects, I could'nt not offer it to my clients as well. So it's something new at coachkeatha.com and group classes, 1:1 sessions, group retreats are all on the horizon. Keep listening and following the podcast on social to get all the latest updates. Make you are on my email list to be notified FIRST when classes come on line.

I love these two ladies and have mad respect for the work that they do.... I know you'll love them too!
Remember to keep an open mind as you start to do your self healing work. You just never know what may work for you to finally get to the deepest roots of your disordered eating, overeating and inablity to lose weight. Remember, breath work is just another tool for your tool box of life.
Keep coming back to get more tools, more resources and more fun stuff!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to THE WAR ON WEIGHT PODCAST!
P.S.
Here's that facebook post I talked about on the episode. When I heard my breath coaches talking about holding generational trauma, I wasnt sure I bought that either.... Can yall tell I'm just as resistant to new things as you are? I've just learned to be intentionally open to new thoughts and ideas. READ THIS......

“When pregnant, the cells of the baby migrate into the mothers bloodstream and then circle back into the baby, it’s called “fetal-maternal microchimerism”.
For 41 weeks, the cells circulate and merge backwards and forwards, and after the baby is born, many of these cells stay in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent imprint in the mothers tissues, bones, brain, and skin, and often stay there for decades. Every single child a mother has afterwards will leave a similar imprint on her body, too.
Even if a pregnancy doesn't go to full term or if you have an abortion, these cells still migrate into your bloodstream.
Research has shown that if a mother's heart is injured, fetal cells will rush to the site of the injury and change into different types of cells that specialize in mending the heart.
The baby helps repair the mother, while the mother builds the baby.
How cool is that?
This is often why certain illnesses vanish while pregnant.
It’s incredible how mothers bodies protect the baby at all costs, and the baby protects & rebuilds the mother back - so that the baby can develop safely and survive.
Think about crazy cravings for a moment. What was the mother deficient in that the baby made them crave?
Studies have also shown cells from a fetus in a mothers brain 18 years after she gave birth. How amazing is that?”
If you’re a mom you know how you can intuitively feel your child even when they are not there….Well, now there is scientific proof that moms carry them for years and years even after they have given birth to them.
I find this to be so very beautiful.
P.S.S If you are interested in the crazy bald guy I chose to be my personal instructor, you can find Jon Paul CRIMI here: Breathe with JP. Still giving him props when he was a little too busy to record with us. Great instructor, love him and his style of class and super thankful I found him!
