A Dozen Easy Holiday Tips to Ensure You Don’t Gain Holiday Weight And Even Have Weight Loss
Ok Sisters, here it is a holiday quick tip episode to ensure you don't gain those extra holiday pounds and you even may even lose a little weight!
It's the holidays and you're busy....let's make it quick!
1. Drink 16 ounces of water every day when you get up, especially on a holiday!
2. Drink 8 ounces of water with every meal
3. Eat several small meals - Don't starve yourself all day and go into the holiday meal starving!
4. Enjoy your friends and family. It's about relationships not the food!
5. Every choice matters. Stop and put down the fork multiple times. Give yourself some space to savor the bites and the conversations.
6. If you are going to several gatherings...Decide how you are going to eat at each one. VERY small meal at each or a different course at each gathering.
7. Get Picky about what you eat. Don't just eat it because it's there. Eat what you love and that serves your body well.
8. Use a small plate. If there isn't one available, don't let your food touch
9. THREE tablespoons or less of each item. NO MORE!
10. Wear tight pants... NO YOGA PANTS!
11. Water bottle in one hand and napkin in the other to prevent senseless grazing!
12. Chew sugar-free gum while you cook and after you are finished eating.
